Bought a mystery room on wotif.com for a weekend stay in Brisbane. Was pleasantly suprised when we checked in - staff helpful and friendly. Rooms are well appointed and spotless. The layout of the room itself was great and loved having a chaise to curl up on with a cuppa instead of having to sit on the bed or uncomfy chair. The only downside was we had a room on the train station side of the hotel. We didn't think it would be that noisy on a Sunday morning but was woken up at 6am with the sound of trains and horns. Hubby slept straight through it so i guess it depends on how heavy a sleeper you are!!

Room Tip: Ask for a cityside room

Very clean and well appointed hotel. Rail link to airport is next to the hotel making it ideal for airline transit. Easy walking to city shopping. Good parking and easy to access with set down area off street thus avoiding city traffic. Noise from nearby hotel/night club was audible and a little distracting.

An excellent hotel. Facilities were good, the restaurant oustanding, and the rooms were everything you could want. The view was nothing special, but we did not pay for a room with a great view.

The location is fantastic, situated right next to the Brisbane Transit Centre, so it is easy to get a train/coach etc..Also, a short walk to the CBD.

The internet was quite slow, but I found this is to be expected in Australia!

Good location only 10 minute walk to Ferry, rooms clean & good size, we arrived early & no problem checking in a little earlier, staff very helpful.
Breakfast was a short walk across the road if not wanting hotel dining area.

Room Tip: Stayed on level 12, lovely views of city

My stay at the traders hotel was easy, my room was clean and comfortable, internet access was acceptable, the staff were attentive and the location had good access to the train station, bars and restaurants.

We've already booked our next stay at Traders and we're looking forward to catching up with the friendly staff. It's so handy to the Roma St train station, so we don't have to drag our luggage down the main street. Traders is positioned in the heart of the CBD so really handy to everything, (including the Casino...lol). Rooms are excellent with lots of room, you could swing a tiger and not touch the walls. Bathroom was very clean, lots of room and the towels fresh & clean. Roll on our next stay. Enjoy people.

We booked this hotel because we were going on a tour which started from there early in the morning. They were also next door to the train station for a link to the airport. They were so helpful about giving information, storing our bags and suggesting activities when our tour was cancelled. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was pricy but plentiful. We found a good alternative 100 yds down the road. Ideally suited for our needs. Shame the jacuzzi was closed.

Room Tip: We were cheeky and asked to be on the side away from the train lines. They gave us top floor on the...
