“good location, good service and room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2013

Stayed here for a Saturday night. The staff were efficient and helpful. The room and bathroom were a good size (better than some more expensive hotels we have stayed at in Brisbane). The room was clean and the domestic staff helpful and polite. Check in and out was painless and the staff were professional. It is centrally located, only a short walk to King George Square and Queen Street Mall. We were on the 17th floor and could hear the trains at night (but we did book a hotel above the transit center, so go figure :) ), but this did not detract from a pleasant stay.
No complaints, a good basic hotel.

Spent 6 days at the Traders BSB - QLD to attend a convention wich took place at the conference room located on 5th floor.

The rooms are cosy, modern and comfortable.
Free WIFI internet.
Good buffet breakfast

Very central location, a short stroll to the mall and walks along the riverbanks.

Trains and buses at the basement.

Nice clean hotel, taxi rank in driveway, Roma Street station next door (can catch trains and buses to anywhere in Brisbane..and when you get back, its just next door to your hotel..very little walking after a big day out.. Maybe a ten minute walk to the mall.. Staff were friendly..

Room Tip: The room we had suffered from rattling windows.. A design fault which Management is trying to fix...

Very disappointing stay especially housekeeping and very poor internet connection. The breakfast is very good although the decor is poor. The guy who does the omelettes is fabulous. Also you can get fresh juice. Apart from the breakfast nothing else was mentionable. Location is good.

Room Tip: will not be staying here again if I can avoid it

Booked this hotel via a mystery deal, so got it for a cheap rate but was still unimpressed. Room had not been serviced properly as when I arrived I found personal items presumably left by the previous guest. Also the room had a faint odour of beer and I later found an empty beer bottle in the bin. I could also hear the people in the adjacent room talking, so the walls must be very thin. Wouldn't stay there again.

Got this hotel on a mystery pick and couldn't have been happier. Great location to the CBD and Roma St Parklands. Rooms are great size and the beds were unbelievably comfy. Dinner in the restaurant was just divine. Very fast service and great portion size. The Creme brûlée is a must try! Only one negative being the noise of the train line right adjacent to the hotel. Late at night it became much more noticeable even though we were on the 11th floor. I would recommend asking for a room furtherest side to the station.

Comfortable reasonably priced hotel- friendly helpful front desk staff. Perfect for a Brisbane stop. Superb location - right above Roma St station- direct fast connections to international and domestic airports and cross-Brisbane including South Bank and the 'Gabba'. Close to central business and shopping -more or less equidistant from the Eagle St pier and South Bank attractions- My tip would be 10 min walk downhill to Eagle St and take the free hop on hop off river ferry to other riverside destinations.

Room Tip: if you like to see trains stay at the back- river views the front. Either way a room on the upper fl...
