Description: Neatly parked on the corner of 100 Days Road in Grange, The Hutch Bistro strikes a perfect balance between casual and sophisticated modern dining. A chic outdoor area featuring broad umbrellas, chocolate brown wicker chairs, palm fronds and lime green accents makes for balmy al fresco dining while inside, clothed and candlelit tables set a more romantic tone for evening. It's perfectly conducive to relaxing over a wine from the smartly chosen list, and lingering over modern European fare infused with fresh Australian flavours. Think chilli lime coconut poached chicken salad with sweet potato crisps, or tender rib fillet with Jerusalem artichoke fondant, garlic prawns, confit shallots, green beans and a Shiraz jus.

We dined for breakfast with children, it was very nice to see they had an affordable children's menu as well as the normal breakfast menu offered great variety. The meals were of an excellent standard and not just the basic breaky.
I would recommend definitely.

Really nice food and good service. I had the eye fillet steak with lobster tail. It was one of the better steaks I have had in Bris. Recommend.

As locals, we've previously thoroughly enjoyed this place (run by previous owners). Been meaning to do dinner here for some time to see if the new owners could deliver the same quality. We dined tonight and seriously regret it. Friendly greeting, relatively quick order taken (mains no entrees) so off to a good start. Then we waited...and waited...and waited for our meals. Finally arrived and while the fish and chicken were lovely (moist, cooked well) the sides were tiny but worse tasteless, seriously like you were eating nothing. Meant to be a tasty potato, bacon and rosemary (was it in there?) combo but you could not taste ANYTHING..not even the bacon (incredible)! Given the price point of the meals either the sides should've been more sizeable or for such small portions, been tasty and had a flavour impact. Feedback was provided to the wait staff. We were left extremely disappointed and won't be back which is a shame as we like to support local businesses. Would not recommend this place to anyone now.

Have wanted to stop for a while but never had the opportunity but today was the day, glad we did. Nice greeting on arrival and seated inside. Water to the table straight away good start. We ordered Haloumi and Bean Salad, and Pork Sliders. All delivered promptly and very tasty. We very much enjoyed our meal and great service, thank you. Definitely worth stopping and we will be back.

Called in for after work coffee at the hutch, great atmosphere, good corner position, lovely afternoon breeze. The service was brisk, the coffee and muffins, with ice cream, were really very good. The only downside, was the volume of after- school traffic coming and going from seven eleven a few doors down . Between three and four PM was busy , other - wise the location is just great ; loved the wicker furniture...

Thanks for your great review.
Please understand we could only offer coffee and muffins as our kitchen closes after lunch for dinner services.
As our majority of seats are at the balcony and located near the roundabout, we always try to manage the noise from the road by turning music on but it is hard when the school traffic coming and going. We are still seeking for ways to manage them.
Thanks for your compliments again and hope we can see you again in near future :)
