We stumbled upon this place last night before the reds game and it was an enjoyable experience. We had some tapas to start and I had slow cooked lamb and duck fat roast potatoes, my partner had pâté. The food was really good and we found the service good. The kitchen is pretty interesting as it is mostly at the side of the bar. Overall the food was really nice and the atmosphere was great, we will go back

We had heard so much about this place, via the internet and it is a great feeling when you jump in a taxi in the CBD and name the restaurant you want to go to and they know !!!! So we got there walked in with no booking and the barman told us to ask at counter outside, but he will pour our drinks and deliver to us! great we thought, then once i get a table i told the waiter i had order two glasses of wine and can he tell the barman where we were, 24 minutes later the wine arrived, but no menus, we asked for menus and wine list, drink empty and wine list arrives. Quickly i thought better get this done so a bottle was ordered straight away ! Menu was small but well balanced, had something for everyone, i ordered Quail Ballentine for starter and Lamb Shoulder with Roast potatoes on the side, Karen ordered Olives and the pizza style dish, sorry i don't remember the name. So Olives arrive, 25 minutes alter the Quail arrives followed by the pizza thing. we finished and the food was very good, i like the way it was presented etc after a wait the mains came first Karens with out her sides, followed just as she finished mine and again without the sides, i finished and no sides arrived. So we opted to pay the bill and go to Claxton St. to find a dessert. Overall i like this place, great lighting, high seat and tables the ladies took the bench seats and the lads the stools, tables close enough to have that chat if so inclined but our neighbours were being romance so best give them space. Will definitely go again and i how the service and delivery will be better, they missed out on two sides and dessert due to what ever, as a business they need to address this.

This is a comfortable wine bar, cleverly designed so that the outdoor section feels secluded, even though it is only a couple of yards away from a busy supermarket. The outer section has (reasonably) comfortable bench seats as well as stools arranged around tables; in the inner, enclosed, area you sit at the bar. The wine list is extensive, and our waiter was quite knowledgeable, making excellent suggestions about wines that would complement our choice of food. However, the latter was ordinary, and poorly presented, with a few salad greens tossed carelessly on top of the pies, and no salad dressing until we asked for it. Stick to the nibbles.

Cabiria is a much needed addition to a lacklustre Brisbane wine bar scene. It has ambience in abundance and whilst we sat at one of the outside tables, the bar and huge array of wines on display beckoned. Next time perhaps !!!!

We went to Cabiria after the movies and we were looking for something quick and easy with some character. It delivered.
The wine list was extensive and you would be hard to please if you couldn't find something that tickled your fancy. Rather than doing the hard work of ploughing through the wine list myself I put my trust in the hands of the waiter........ and he didn't disappoint. Very knowledgeable and quite helpful.

The food was tasty and acceptable but the choice isn't extensive.
I'll go again.
