It was a Sunday evening and by far this was the busiest place on Southbank. We went for after theatre dinner so it was about 7.30 and it was very busy.

The service was terrible. 3 tables seated after us were serviced before us in tears of having orders taken and drinks or food arriving. In fact one Tavel had managed to arrive after us but had both food and drinks before we'd even placed an order. After losing patience I had to ask for service for fear I might chew my own arm off!

Once ordered the food was excellent. It's a reasonable price for what you get. The atmospheres nice and we will return.

This place just needs to sort service because this is my third visit and on each occasion something's been lacking with service

You might have to queue but it is well worth the wait. The food is sizzling hot when it arrives and the wait staff very friendly and helpful. Tons of choice on the menu and guaranteed not to disappoint. Be brave and tantalise your tastebuds with something on the more exotic side, you will be glad you did.

Look, the food was ok, the service was ok - the sangria was yummy but overpriced. $36 for a jug which effectively gave you 3 and a bit glasses was a bit much. For dinner the food was nice but for the price was a little on the stingy side. You can get better value for money in other restaurants along this strip - or anywhere for that matter. Disappointing because you want to like it but it is expensive for what it is. You can go to a fine dining restaurant for the same price & get more food. But as expensive as it is - if you're looking for some nice sangria, go here.

we had calamari, beef cheeks, lamb, all very nice, there were three of us sharing, the Anchoivies were fantastic, not salty as i know them but just a great herb spicy mix ..mmmm!
chicken sticks, all very nice,
we had two jugs of sangria, started on the white wine then the red, i thought the red with blueberries was good.
