The Meriton Suites on Adelaide street has been my hotel residence of choice in Brisbane for my weekly Business trips over the past 8 months. Fantastic facilities, stratospheric views across the city from the expansive altitude suites but nothing compares to the service, professionalism and positivity provided by the staff. Carmina, Tiago, Shanelle and Helen are exceptional and make every stay memorable.

The rooms were quite clean and had a nice view.
However, We had an issue with the WiFi and hotel phone in our room and maintenance was unavailable through the weekend. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite in resolving the issue. We ended up changing rooms and being moved to the 68th floor, where the view was absolutely stunning.
The gym was fine too (kind of expected more from such a big hotel).
Overall our room/experience at the hotel was great and we would absolutely stay here again.

Room tip: worth booking a room on a high floor

A few years ago, I lived in Meriton Adelaide Street Brisbane for around a week. That is my first time to choose Meriton which gave me very good experience. This time, something is different. And I think a 5 star service apartment hotel is not supposed to be like this. To be honest, I have a little disappointment this time. The good parts are the front desk and housekeeping staff are still friendly and helpful, the room has everything for you to stay and a stunning view if your room is on the higher level. However, the worst part is the cleaning. In my room, you could see dust everywhere, stains everywhere, like on the carpet, sofa, chairs, wall and even I saw a small handful hair in the corner of sofa. The rack in the dishwasher is rust and even a piece of broken glass in the corn of the dishwasher. The washing machine is also worst. When you open the lid, dust around the tub. I hope next time I could see something improved.

Room tip: If n you need anything, just feel free to ask for them. They alway try to satisfied with all your request. This is a very helpful.

Always love staying at the Meriton but this time we had a couple of minor house-keeping glitches in our 7 night stay. Twice the room was not made up by the time we got back from town 3-4pm. Once they had made it up but forgot to leave towels. Minor but annoying

Meriton Suites offered a night of affordable, blissfully comfortable indulgence for my stopover in Brisbane.
Facilities within the suite was faultless and had I been staying longer I certainly would have used all to good effect. The Suites are easily a short 10min walk from Central train station and within 2mins walking distance to the riverside, local restaurants, shops/supermarkets and public transport either bus or citycat if you prefer to travel along the river.
