I booked an apartment at last minute over the phone and because I had stayed there previoulsy they gave e a great price of $127 for a 1 bedroom unit on the 39th floor! It had awesome views and the kitchen was well equipped-they also have foxtel if your into relaxing and watching tv. The sauna and indoor pool and spa are lovely and its got great security. Staff are lovely and very helpful. I stayed there with my boyfriend and we had a great night. The bed was very comfortable and it was relaxing! Its in a great location to fancy restraunts and right by the river for a stroll with that specials someone. There is no restraunt as of yet but Im sure they are building one.

Room Tip: It does not matter what level you stay on its the same price so if your not scared of heights ask fo...

As a regular guest of all the Meriton serviced apartments around Australia, I must say MSA Brisbane doesn’t quite live up to its other hotels within the company. Yes it’s a great building, very clean and tidy and reasonably good customer service. it’s the size of the rooms that let it down. I booked 2x1 bedroom apartments and both rooms had very cramped and oddly designed layouts. My main Hate is in any hotel/apartment/house is having to stand inside a bath to shower (it my not be such a issue for others). Car parking was $20 per car which was a standard in Brisbane. Pool and gym were nice and well equipped.

Maybe in the future when the second half of the building is complete and has larger rooms available I may return.

Room Tip: Cube rooms are only on level 4 or below, recommend 1bdr or better

Thanks for your review. Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy MSA Brisbane as much as our NSW locations. The High-rise apartments open 1st May 2012 and I think you will find these are more in line with the apartments you have enjoyed in Sydney.
Hope you will come back to check them out.

I often prefer to stay in hotels as opposed to the hit and miss you often get with serviced apartments such as oaks who have residents dodgy decorations. However the meriton serviced apartments are standardized with good furniture albeit a slightly hard couch.

The kitchen was well equipped an a good size as was the apartment itself. Also Excellent views on the higher floors.

On the negative the shower is poor although on my last stay this had improved and the location is a nothing but then again the ten minute walk to restaurants isn't too bad.

Overall one of the better serviced apartments in Brisbane and I would stay again

Stayed for one night, got a great rate for a Saturday night by receving their email updates, as we have stayed with the Meriton at the Gold Goast and Sydney.
Lovely decor and all new furnishings with king size bed. A nice walk along inthe river takes you into the central shopping area of Brisbane. Its In the heart of the Riverside Centre where there is heaps of restaurants, and great views of the Story Bridge. Our room on the fourth floor missed out on views but we did get a good rate and unfortunately we could not get an upgrade, but it would be worth paying a little extra as the views would be great. It's Brisbane Tallest building with all new technology, the room key operates the lift, so listen to the instructions by the front counter staff and the instructions on the lift on how to get to your room. Undercover parking is available at a cost of $35, street parking on Saturday night is available, but check the parking signs. We chose a Cube Room which is a cross between a one bedroom and studio, very roomy with a small kitchen, laundry, so great for a traveller, also had a large flat screen TV. Only fault for us was that was you couldn' watch TV from the bed, so we will opt for a studio next time.

Room Tip: Ask for river views, or views of the Story Bridge.

I have traveled all over the world in the last 6 years and I was blown away by the Meriton! It was fantastic!! The apartment was so big with amazing views of Brisbane and the staff was more than helpful. I seriously wanted to stay there for the rest of my life and strongly considered cancelling other trips to stay there longer. Everything about this place from the big bathrooms, large beds, to the well equipped kitchen was fantastic!

Meriton was one of the highlights of our trip out of everywhere we stayed in both Australia and New Zealand.

We were in a 1 bedroom unit on the 21st floor. The view was great, the room was well sized with tons of windows, and it included everything you could need. Our room had a view overlooking the outer-city and a bit of the bridge; it was probably the worst view out of all the corners of the building, but still was nice.

The only negative is the room was situated above a swimming club which played some sport that involved a whistle being blown every minute or two. Fortunately they didn't play too late or too early, so it was never too disruptive. But it was annoying.

The only small complaint about the room is it'd be nice to have a second remote for the AC units (there's only one for both the living area and the bedroom).

The bed was incredibly comfortable.
The shower pressure was, well, pathetic. But it could still get the job done. The tub layout was odd (people complain about it here), but I didn't find it too off-putting and never hit my leg or hurt myself, so the complaints on that seem a bit overdone.
The daily service (made the bed, swapped towels, tidied up a bit) was great.

The hotel is about 3 blocks away from the mall (someone said that it was 'extremely far'... I don't think 3 blocks is that far).

Room Tip: The higher the better! And, ask for a view of the bridge / river.

Brand new and well equiped. Even the zipper king bed worked well (no lumpy middle). A job almost well done BUT tfor he shower. For a business stay I am after a great bed and a great shower. Boy do Austrlains overshoot, just so extreme. I am all for saving water but the water saving shower heads here are just redicualous. You have to run around under the drops but before you get wet you drop from exhaustion. The units at the current discounted price are still too expensive if you can't get a shower.
Things that don't work, Meriton sent me an automated feedback email which I was keen to complete; it wouldn't work, I couldn't finish it it just kept going ack to the start. One one to avoid negative feedback!
Fix the shower and it propbably goes up two points in my rating. It is really all about the bed and the shower.
