Found a new favourite which had been there a long time and we didn't know. On our way to a show without a booking, we were looking for a quick dinner. Checked here, and they had a table. From first contact with the team there, we enjoyed amazing service (friendly, thorough, appropriately attentive, knowledgeable and eager to please) and stunningly good food.
The staff really knew the food, were happy to make recommendations, and guide us through the wine list and good matches.
Everything we had was delicious. Even the Edamame tasted better than any we'd had before. Something so simple, a cut above.
Our favourite was the Buto no Kakuni, a pork dish with onsen egg. Mindblowingly good.
A wonderful meal with terrific wine, efficient and friendly service, and the price was great value. For the two of us with nice wine, was around $155.
We'll be going back very soon. Planning for it already.
