Whether it's breakfast or lunch Buzz serves the best meals. They are a rare restaurant that does get it right the first time. Jeanette the manager, is always very welcoming & helps makes our regular visit's even better. Good value for money.

“Our favourite place to brunch”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We are regular brunchers and time and time again, we return to Buzz. Although the service can be hit and miss sometimes (generally, it is excellent when the owner is there and not as great when he is not), but the food makes up for it.

I think the prices are very reasonable for an inner-city (high rent) cafe. Our local brunching spot (40 mins from CBD) charges similar prices!

What we recommend:
- banana smoothie
- berry smoothie (ask for the dairy version, it's so much better than the fruit juice version)
- blueberry ricotta pancakes
- eggs benedict with bacon or salmon
- lamb chops
- scrambled eggs on toast

It's a very busy cafe on the weekends, so best to head there early 7-8am or after 10.30am. (i think brunch finishes at 11.30am).

“The best brunch I have EVER had.”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

I ate at Buzz with my husband because it was open early and convenient to the Emporium Hotel. We loved it so much we went back the very next day. As New Yorkers, we feel spoiled by the number of delicious brunch locations in our city, but the delicious standard we received at Buzz blew them out of the water. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, the menu creativity is fabulous, and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual. Try the omelette with roasted pumpkin. Yum!

“Buzz by name and buzzy by nature.”
Reviewed December 28, 2011

We visited on a public holiday and the place was crowded with people having a good time and enjoying food, coffee and company.
The service was good, particularly when you consider how busy it was . Being busy did not distract from the quality of the coffee and the food was more than acceptable. Prices were reasonable, especially on a public holiday when other establishments tend to add a surcharge.
Would be more than happy to go there again.
