I really don't know where to start
We order pre dinner drinks very yummy
Out came entree very small but very nice.
Ordered our meal drinks one wine one beer
Girl arrives with one bottle 2 glasses .. No
Another girl arrives with one bottle 2 glasses
I say you have got to be kidding !!
Our meals arrive and we are still waiting for our ordered drinks. Wait wait
Other people walk out as they are not even served in a 30 min period
Talk to manager she tells us it's on the house we then wait again for another meal to go with our wine. I walk to bar to get our second drinks as been waiting to long he doesn't even have our order . Get drinks a d our meal is finally there . When we leave not one person questions us leaving even though manager has told us it is on the house. My advise employ Australians and have one waiter per table
I was so disappointed with this restaurant after reading about it in a courier mail advert
It would have to be the worst restaurant I have ever been in . Come on Australia we deserve better!!! It was not busy either!!!
So sad could have been so nice!!!

The name gives no hint as to what you might expect. It's an asian fusion restaurant. The restaurant presents itself as though you were in French Indochine. Inside the restaurant is dimly lit and has a pleasantly busy noisiness.

There's a fairly good wine menu with plenty to chose from. The selection of wines by the class is slightly better then average.

The menu looks intriguing, a collection of items that suggest more unusual South East Asian cultures without being so. Perhaps this is also where the food feels like it falls down. The meals seem like they have been devised by a westerner who's travelled through Asia and loved the cuisine and wanted to recreate it, but has not actually spent the time in Asia to actually deeply know the dishes and flavours that are prepared there.

On a weekend night the wait staff appeared a bit overworked and inattentive. It was at times hard to get their attention.

Would I return? It piqued my curiosity enough to want to return and see if they could improve on things.

I went to Libertine for the first time last night and was really impressed. The duck crepes were amazing! The tender pieces of duck and the soft crepe made that a really memorable dish. Also worth mentioning is the marinated tofu, which had a nice spicy kick to it and was quite a big entree dish. The service was also really good, with the wait staff very attentive and the meals served quickly.

Very pleasant with an unusual menu, but very refreshing to be offered first class fare only a short walk from the transit centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal even if the wine was somewhat on the pricy side. Would go back, but because of the limited menu would not return often.

We went on a voucher and were able to select any food from the menu to the value of $100. We shared 2 entrees - spring rolls (yummy) and rice paper rolls. For Main course we shared Duck a lórange and Pork Belly. Both were presented in a way which was very easy to share and were delicious. Wines were on the pricey side and without a voucher the meal would've been quite pricey too. There was live music until 6.30pm on the Sunday as well. Parking is good too - 2 hrs for free.
I would recommend tis restaurant to others
