We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and with just one course each and coffee managed to tote up $40 each for very ordinary food. Two of us had the special of the day, salmon risotto (very small serve) one had the lamb shank and another the sword fish dish. None of the dishes were anything but very ordinary and at the price it was very disappointing. Sorry I won't patronise this restaurant again.

We eat here every couple of months, knowing we will pay premium price for good italan food, with good service and atmosphere ( on the river)
Today our order seemed forgotten. We were compensated with a free drink after i said i wasnt happy with a 50 minute wait for our meal ( lunch time wednesday amongst the first to order lunch. Not busy)
You will pay $13 for a glass of chandon sparkling(go to byblos only $11 per glass)
And about $11 a glass of vino. Pizza about$25, so for these prices i expect to have a nice meal with good service .
Would normally rate this restaurant a bit higher, but sorry if it takes an hour for food to come out at premium price , service and value ratings drop

We decided to try this restaurant after eating at the one next door a few weeks ago.
We were not disappointed.
We were seated very quickly, after being offered a choice of two tables. We were given time to peruse the menus after our waitress had given us a description of the day's specials.
We ordered a cold antipasto platter, with my husband going for the day's special of risotto with white truffles and scallops for Mains. I opted for the egg pasta with sand crab.
The antipasto arrived in good time and was lovely - cured meats, semi-dried tomatoes, a variety of olives, frittata, eggplant and artichoke.
Our mains were beautiful. The risotto was creamy, the pasta al dente. My only complaint was that there were no vegetables at all served, nor were we asked if we wished to order them.
We shared a tiramisu for dessert. Yum. Don't need to say more.
The service was good, including napkin changes between each course. Water glasses were topped up regularly.
Next time (and yes, we will go again), we will ask for a table away from a walk-way. Our waitress had to manage us, while dodging other staff walking by with full plates, etc.

We dined here on a Saturday evening when it was packed, and the staff were under plenty of pressure. A waiter is not assigned to your table so we received constant attention from nuemerous waiters all eager to please, so I cannot fault the service. Despite being at capacity, the food was very good, quick and excellent! Cannot fault Gusto's.
Tip: For 4 or more diners - be sure to book ahead. (not necessary for <4).
