This exhibition was well displayed. Introductory film filled in the background. Artifacts were amazing..so good that they had been kept safe.

My son had a school excursion to the QLD museum & i ask him to ask his teacher if i could go too & help out . They agreed & what a great day it was . I have not been there since i was in high school myself & had forgotten how interesting museum's can be . We where only there for an hour an a half which is not an enough time i think . Allow your self at least 3 hours , it's multi level although it's minimal walking so it really is cated for everybody . If your in Brisbane & have e fue hours up your sleeve please don't hesitate .

I specifically visited the museum to view this exhibition which is limited in time. The exhibition was very interesting and starts with a film about the archeological sites where the treasures were found and then focuses on the different areas. I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition which was easy to follow and very clearly labelled with lots of information. I was lucky that it was the middle of the afternoon and not very busy. There was a cost to access this exhibition but the other areas of the museum were free,
I wished that I had more time to visit the rest of the museum which looked very interesting and would have given me a lot of information about Brisbane and Queensland,

A really good layout over several floors with plenty to learn about local and Australian history. Something for everyone and there will still be more to see next visit.
