When we first arrived we were not sure what we were going to be staying in. The accommodation was a room in a couple of buildings that are part of a holiday park. Most of the people in the park were living in caravans. We had the usual (for Australia) warm welcome when we arrived.

The park had a large warm swimming pool and was in a good location. It had no free Wifi and the internet access was expensive (not supplied by the motel). When we visited they were renovating a building near to our room and if we had been staying in during the day it would have been noisy.

The room was fairly basic. It had no microwave, not even a clock and only two power sockets which was far too few for a motel room. I was also suprised to see a big sign saying that a loss of key would cost at least $200 (over £120) which seemed excessive and not at all 'friendly'.

Room Tip: When we stayed in October 2012 we were near to a building that was being renovated (from early in th...

Having spent all day chasing storms, at 11.45pm we desperately needed somewhere to stay so took our chance getting off M3 and headed towards the airport. We noticed the 24 hour check-in sign & checked ourselves in via the machine at the entrance to the hotel as the reception was closed. A key for room 1 came out like a coke from a vending machine & we found our room by driving around the complex. Although a very basic motel room, it was clean, the beds comfortable and the aircon worked well - everything you need after a tiring day.

Booked into this transit motel and prepaid 2 months ago for a room because it is near to the Brisbane airport. On checking in they wanted to take more money from us .They could not explain why or would not tell us for how long they were going to keep the money. We were very wary because on booking this hotel they did it twice and we had to contact them to sort that matter out. They gave to me the impression of being very untrusworthy . The male manager was so rude as to say that we might do 40 thousand dollars worth of damage. I found the whole proceeding very untastefull and offensive. They wittered on that all hotels have this policy. We have stayed in numerous hotels all over the world and have only once had to secure the room with an extra payment and this was a luxury hotel with extra facilities and they canclled the extra on booking out. We have never had this happen to us in a budget transit type hotel . The managment could not tell us when or if they would repay any money. There are other hotels nearby Brisbane airport and we had the pleasure of staying at one with the staff from another hotel phoning around other hotels to find us a bed at such a late booking .Stay at one of these.

I stayed in a Villa which is a large mobile home, it was spotless and airy with air con or two ceiling fans and right next to the pool. The park is very clean too and well tended to. There is a restaurant and shop on site and also shops close by.

I am amazed at the price really, not far from the Airport or CBD.
There is a kitchen area with full size fridge. hob and microwave and the living room has a 32" TV with Sky.

The staff are friendly and its a really nice play to stay.

My daughter and I stayed in a twin motel room for two nights. No frills but clean and comfortable. Fridge, kettle and toaster were great additions however a microwave would have been advantageous. Service at reception was very friendly, the included breakfast baskets were basic but adequate. The location is great- near the highway into Brisbane and convenient to the airport but the suburban location is quiet .Takeaway restaurants and supermarket are in walking distance. Will definitely be back to stay on future visits to Brisbane .

I am a single female travelling frequently on business. This basic motel room at $82 was very good value, clean and safe. It is in a good location, if you know it exists .... it is not on a major highway, but very close to the Gateway Motorway if you know your way. I will definitely stay there again.
