We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Haven't been to Brisbane for ages, so wasn't really sure where to stay. This location was fantastic. A short walk along the boardwalk to Eagle Street Pier with its restaurants, bars and the free City Hopper ferry (ideal for getting to Southbank). Also a woolworths supermarket not far away - straight up the Macrossen street hill and behind Europcar.

Our room was on the 20th floor and had a large balcony with a table for 4. We had a lovely view of the river and Story Bridge. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen (full cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher), large dining table, adequate lounge with tv including some foxtel channels, good bathroom, ensuite was a bit of a strange shape and smelled a bit due to lack of ventilation or fan and leaking shower, good bedrooms with plenty of hanging space.

Pool area was disappointing - much smaller than expected and constantly in shade.

I would definitely stay again as it was great value for apartment style accommodation in a handy location.

Picked this hotel for a short stay in Jan 14 after reading favorable reviews on trip advisor.
Hotel hard to find.. don't agree it's centrally located, decent walk into city and to most public transport.
Expensive for what it is. Not sure who rates these hotels but not 4.5 star. Our apartment was dirty and I do mean dirty, I had to clean tables , bench tops before I could eat. TV and doors covered in obvious sticky finger prints The bathrooms showers had grim in corners. Master bed had a foot scarf covered in stains.. it may have been clean but it was obvious what the stains were as it was only for decoration- why put it on the bed in the first place? Ruined my first impression.
The pool area was in permanent shade and the lounges old and dirty, as was the pool which was cloudy and had green slime in corners and dirty tiles. Only hotel i have ever stayed in where the spa overflowed into the pool and wasn't heated?
I did express concern about the pool but was told it was fine? After that I didn't bother wasting my time speaking to the reception staff about cleanness etc.
Small lounge area and no second TV... Foxtel was sports orientated no movie channels no big deal but think this should be advertised as such. as not a sports fan.
Limited help in room regarding Brisbane activities and local shops etc.
Overall not good enough!! I won't stay again, not central and rooms dirty, well below standard I expect from a so called 4.5 star hotel.
stayed on 11th floor and we did get River view.

Room Tip: Ask for River view

Loved the location of these apartments. Just a stroll away from the Eagle Street Pier, with plenty of bars and restaurants. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and well equipped. The large balcony was great with river views.

We checked into the Mint on Xmas day and we were not disappointed. We had a 2br apartment which was well laid out and very clean. The bedrooms both had their own bathroom and were separated by the lounge room which eliminated the noise from talking etc. My only complaint was that the light over the vanity in the ensure in main bedroom was inadequate which made it very hard to put on make up as there were no other mirrors in the apartment. Location was ideal. Amenities were excellent although not much space or seating around the pool. Be careful if buying groceries at the shop downstairs which is independent to the hotel as all perishables we bought were out of date which we returned. We would definitely stay at the amino again. One other thing.... a bit hard to find as no mention of Mint on the outside of the building only Skyline and the street number which helped. Also as we arrived after hours the emailed instructions were excellent and very accurate and worked first go!!

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the river... Always lots to look at and so pleasant sitting on balcony.

Stayed for a weekend in July 2013. We had a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was very clean, with a huge balcony and great views across the river.
The location couldn't have been better. We walked easily to the hub area of bars and restaurants, about 5 mins walk along the water. Also, the main shopping street was only 5 mins walk also.

The only small issue that I would seek to be improved was that the apartments are not serviced for short stays-this is fine, but I think it would be helpful if there was a contact number clearly displayed in the apartment for urgent requests.

I would highly recommend Mint Brisbane, and I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Brisbane.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the river - it's beautiful, especially at night!

The Mint Brisbane was amazing. We were looked after so well, especially when the room we had booked( by our friends) was a little too small. We were upgraded! to an amazing suite! It made our holiday. The staff and Michala were so nice and gave us another option at a very reasonable rate.

It is very modern, clean and the shower was very good, great pressure lots of hot water.
The room we were upgraded to wasn't one of the river view ones. Well It showed loads of the river and was stunning. I can hardly imagine what the river view rooms are like! Good bed, lovely furniture and spacious layout.

The location is so handy. It is pleasent easy walk to the Queens Plaza, gardens etc. We walked everywhere.

We would stay there again and have no hesitation recommending The Mint Brisbane.

Room Tip: Higher floors, better view.

We were 3 adults and a toddler sharing a spacious 3 bedroom apartment on the 22nd floor. The apartment was huge and modern. Everything was well-appointed. Some things could have been a bit cleaner (insides of drawers, closet shelves, balcony). The staff was friendly and very helpful in all respects. The balcony was fabulous - looked out over the Storey Bridge and had a nice table and chairs where we could enjoy our meals. Parking was a bit tricky (very small spaces), but easy to access. It was great to be able to walk down to the river front and get to the CityCat and ferries within 10 minutes. You can be on the South Bank in less than half an hour without ever seeing a car or city street.
The pool was clean and decent although the "spa" was freezing cold. Same temp as the unheated pool.
Our only real complaint was that there was only 1 garbage bag, one packet of dishwasher detergent, etc for a week. I don't expect everything to be supplied, but garbage bags and dishwasher detergent at least help one keep the place clean from day-to-day and when one arrives from oversees, it's kind of a pain to have to buy garbage bags.
I would definitely recommend the Mint for families looking to enjoy Brisbane. There is a grocery store, bakery, etc only a 5 minute walk away and it's easy to get around the city from here.
As mentioned by others, take note that there is no sign ANYWHERE outside saying "MINT" so you need to be looking for the address and just ring into the front desk when you arrive.
