Went there for a first time to this restaurant and liked it. Food is amazing and fresh and tastes delicious.

Prices are very reasonable for the food quality and good serves.

Will definitely be returning back and highly recommend if you want to try nice delicious food in a casual environment.

Fantastic fresh food. Best middle eastern food i have ever eaten. This is a very traditional restaurant, just imagine you are in Afganastan not some posh place in Park road where you get waited on hand and foot. Don't confuse the quietness of the owner or the fact you may have to knock on the kitchen door to get attention as bad service. Yes you will have to lay you own knife and fork out but it is worth it. We got the owner taking and he gave us the most wonderful history lesson on Afgan food. If you want posh, go elsewhere, if you want the one of the best meals in brisbane, cheap, this is the place. Try the dumplings OMG! It is BYO and out of respect I took my alcohol containers home with me. If its your first time here it seems a bit strange even confronting at first, but that soon passes. My new favourite brisbane restaurant!!

They've made a bit of an effort here to spruce the place up with clean tableclothes and some interesting wall hangings. The desserts are in a display counter and the place is clean and tidy, if a bit spartan. The wait staff were prompt and friendly, although the place was nearly deserted when we were there.

I think Afghan food is going to be the next big thing. It's delicious, satisfying soul food. It's different enough to be a novelty, yet not too alien - lots of Indian-style curries, and Greek and Turkish style grills and desserts. The flavours are lifted by yoghurt, mint and spice. The food here was tasty. I really enjoyed the bolani and the chicken kebab. I didn't try the curry but the people at the table next to me had the chicken korma and they seemed pretty happy with it.

Servings are generous and the overall value is good. It's always nice to discover a place like this. Give it a shot.

I had a chance to visit this place and found the worst ever experienced customer service. We wait for a table for 15 minutes besides the avilability of empty tables. The wiatress was also bit anoying and did not attend properly. Also the service was extreamly slow.... The food was also expensive
