We bought a groupon voucher for the thai cooking class here and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. the class was informative and we recieved a little booklet with recipes to make the meals at home.. was great saturday morning. We also recieved 2 x 25 dollar vouchers to spend either on cooking classes or meals here..and returned to eat with some of our friends. The food was very fresh and delicious, but the portions were much smaller than expected for the high prices. The fish cakes we made in the cooking class were much bigger than the ones served to us that evening, which was very disappointing. Having said that, the food tasted great and we still had a good time. Would probably go back once more, just to use the voucher. The owner and chef, mon, is very friendly.. lovely lady and host!

We dined here on a Friday Lunch during a quick visit to Brisbane enroute Cooloongatta then Melbourne. Mon has some great lunch specials or you can opt to order from the full dinner menu. Dishes we ordered were, Tom Yum (and it was very yum and I asked for it extra spicy), Satay Chicken, Pad Thai and Basil Prawns. All meals were delicious and quite frankly over the many times I have dined here when I used to live in Brisbane I have never had a bad meal.Oh I forget to mention desert.. the black sticky rice dessert-very good.

Do yourself a favour and try this place. You will be back.If you dont have a car easy to get to as its right beside Windsor Station.

This place is located virtually next to the windsor train station and living in the area we thought we would pop in for a dinner one night. We usually go to the cluster of restaraunts in Wilston (ie Citron, Wong's, Dquivescences, etc) and there are numerous options in this area but we thought we would give this place a go. We didn't leave unhappy.

The atmosphere is nice and we were serviced promptly by the man at the counter. The food that was presented was very fairly priced and the taste was very good. I had a coconut based curry (can't recall specific name) while the partner had the pad su and both were fantastic and tasty meals. The ability to BYO (wine only) was also noted.

I would definitely recommend this place to others and we will be back

We live in Newmarket and there are plenty of Thai restaurants in the surrounding suburbs of Ashgrove, Wilston, Grange and Windsor (Where Mon's Thai is located.) It is in the Entertainment Book which gives you a 25% discount and is always well patronised with both dine-in and take away customers. Last time we went we were in the courtyard instead of inside and while it was lacking in atmosphere it was not so noisy. While not our favourite Thai restaurant, it provides consistently fresh, tasty Thai food.

I booked myself into Mon's Thai cooking class after having dined at her restaurant.
It was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday. Very informative and the food we prepared was so easy and tasty. Will definately book in again for the next step up in Thai cooking.
