My husband and I decided to try a new place for lunch so we headed over to the Mcleod Country Golf Club. It wasnt very busy so we decided to go in for a bite.
I felt like steak but there is no steak on the menu for lunch. Actually lunch is sort of like burgers n chips and salad tea n coffee. Its nothing fancy.
The price was ok we had Chicken Snitzel, and a Bacon Tomato and Cheese toasted sandwich, 2 Schooners of xxxx Gold and it cost $36. There are around 7 or 8 poker machines. The view from the verandah is lovely and the course looks like it is well maintained.
They have a problem with crows there. As soon as other patrons left they were straight onto thier left overs and they broke a cup and removed the cutlery and napkins from the table! So if you go there for a casual visit take your dishes in, it'll keep the crows from making a mess. All in all 3 stars
