And this is where we dined at Sake! We asked the staff at Point for recommendations on restaurants here and this was one of them and Aria was another but he said the Aria was very, very expensive so we didn't look at that one

If you visit Brisbane, you must make your way to the Eagle Street Pier precinct. Alongside the river, City Cats coming and going but best of all, you can watch everything from the comfort of a great open-air restaurant whilst sipping a glass of something cold. The area is full of 1st class eateries most of which feature outdoor dining. At night, it is even better with the boats and ferries lit up as they pass.

Prices can be a bit steep (especially for wine) but this should not detract from the atmosphere. Eagle Street Pier precinct is a "must do".

Great markets, shops and restaurants. Have a meal or just a drink and watch the water craft go past. Great view in the evening with the lights of the city and on the bridges.

Eagle St Pier is a great place from which get a good view of Brisbane River - especially the Story Bridge when it's lit up at night. There are restaurants to suit most tastes, including the Kookaburra Queen paddle steamer. Although the weekend market is much smaller than it used to be, it's still worth a visit. Jump on the cat and cruise the river in either direction. Take your camera and enjoy.
