This hotel was well-located for both the show we attended at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and the airport. It offered transport to the show, which would have been a great convenience BUT the charge for the short, straight-forward shuttle journey was $30 per person (or that's what we were quoted)! Needless to say, we took our car. The staff were very helpful, though, in pointing us in the right direction. The room charge also was a little steep, but I imagine that that was partly to do with the long weekend. The room was attractive, comfortable and clean. Small quibbles--there was only one spare pillow and one set of towels. We had to ask for an extra pillow and more towels (I haven't stayed in a hotel without 2 sets before--found this an odd anomaly). And the full length mirror was located on the inside of the wardrobe door but hard up against the entry door so that the door closer made it impossible to open the mirror out more than a few inches. The mirror could have been placed in numerous other locations, so this was truly an unnecessary inconvenience. All of that said, I would definitely stay in this hotel again--the location was great for our needs and the room was fresh and comfortable.

I stay at the Novotel Brisbane Airport whenever I have a short overnight stay in Brisbane.

The reservations staff and front desk staff are always extremely helpful, the rooms are still looking new and are well maintained.

Travel to the airport terminals and from the terminals to the hotel property is achieved by the orange DFO courtesy bus which drops you off at the DFO shopping area and its only a short walk to the hotel.

You will get a good night’s sleep at this property as the rooms are sound proofed, so you wont hear aircraft taking off and landing all night as Brisbane Airport is one of the few airports in Australia that does not have a night curfew.
The rooms are tailored to the business traveller with plenty of electrical plugs for all your gadgets.

I tend to stay clear of the Accor Group of Hotels, but this is one of two Novotel’s I will happily stay at and will come back to again.

Super hotel. Very convenient to shopping and airport. Very friendly staff. Wonderful pool and great dining . I recommend this hotel especially when as it is so near the airport. The Maori man on the reception was very helpful and cheerful.

This was my second stay here on my annual trip from Queensland to Nova Scotia. I was given an upgrade this time to a King Bed Suite in a corner on the top floor. The suite could only be described as stunning. Huge, with high ceilings due to the top floor location. Extremely well appointed, two TV's, two desks, even two sinks in the very large bathroom. Very comfortable bed. A suite like this is indeed better suited to a stay of several days, simply to give you the time to appreciate all its features. The only reason I have given four dots for value is that the rooms in this hotel are very expensive compared to other hotels of a similar standard, undoubtedly due to its location close to the airport. However, having said that, you will not be disappointed with the rooms. Certainly the suite I stayed in was as good as it gets.

We were to be arriving in Brisbane from Fiji at 10.30pm, then flying home to Perth at 8.30am the following morning, so booking at this Hotel made great sense.

Thank goodness we chose that one!

As it happened, I contracted a virus and was quite ill by the time we arrived in Brisbane. My husband called the desk at 6.00am asking them for assistance as I needed medical assistance (nothing like a little post holiday drama!!).

The staff were absolutely amazing! They organised to get us to a Medical Centre by 7.15am, extended our stay - and helped my husband return to the airport as we needed to re-schedule our flight as I was told I couldn't fly until at least the evening!

Nathan and Jim who were "on" when we arrived at around 11.30pm and through until the morning were truly wonderful. Their calm, friendly reassurance was just what we needed to guide us through a fairly traumatic experience!

Our room was enormous, sunny and well appointed - if not a little utalitarian.

There is a shuttle service to and from the airport for $5 per person and the driver is a hoot!

We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if transitting through Brisbane.

Very poor first impression as I was greeted with second hand smoke wafting in from outside and permeating the entire lobby and basically the entire hotel due to an atrium design. The entire hotel just didn't smell clean either with stale air or smells from the carpets in the corridors. Poor tiny gym with no way to exercise the upper body - not even chin up bars. They did have and exercise bike and treadmill though. Rooms was small and reasonably clean but the bed was very good.

Staff at reception weren't very friendly either.

Restaurant downstairs was the highlight with some nice food.

Would think you can do better for this sort of price in Brisbane? ... or maybe standards have dropped this far?

Great staff who are always happy to help and always have a smile on their face.
What a refreshing change....
Call the hotel when leaving Brisbane airport to arrange a pick up...Glenn the driver is a star.
There are no signs coming out of the airport to direct you to the pick up point so call and the staff will tell you where it is...
Brisbane airport needs more info for arriving passengers...

Room Tip: Get a room at the end of the building so you don't hear the others coming and going..
