“Room Review”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

On arriving at the motel after leaving home 12 hrs previously, we were dismayed to find there was no cold water in the shower. This situation was brought to the notice of staff, but no effort was made to rectify the problem. We had to attend a business dinner that evening and fly to Melbourne the next morning without having been able to shower. This was most unsatisfactory. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room . We will not be staying with you again or recommending this motel to anyone else. The staff were pleasant but made no effort to address our problems.

No where near the airport or any other form of transport or shops. Middle of an industrial area.
Expect nothing less then $20 to get you to the hotel by taxi drivers that don't know where they are going and add another $5 to the charge because they feel like it!

Rooms are ok, shower toilet sink and bed/beds. Nothing special but you get what you pay for.

First of all, I choose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and expected free shuttle service for the short trip to the airport. Wrong. Then I called to get directions, but no one will answer the phone. They want you to leave a number to get back to you. Well, if you have no phone and are using a public phone, how is this possible? So I got lost trying to find my way from Brisbane to the hotel trying to use the train and buses. The hotel was overpriced, but I decided to take advantage of the continental breakfast. After pouring a bowl of cereal, I was told that I needed to pay $9. An Australian who got this information just before he took a piece of bread exclaimed. " You've got to be kidding"!

We had an early flight and decided to stay here as it was close to the airport and reasonably priced. Although basic, it was exactly what we needed. Check in was so easy and took only a minute. I was surprised by how quiet it was being so close to the airport and completely full of guests. We would stay here again.

reception services only between 6.30 am to 9.30 pm. i arrived there just before 10 pm. had to check in myself at the kiosk just by the main gate. it took me 20 mins because they registered my name wrong. and no telephone number that i could call for assistance.
the room is basic but ok. clean bed and bathroom. only soaps provided.
around 1.30 am the fire alarm went off. lound and non-stop. seems it's false alarm and some guests of the hotel were trying to fix it and contact the hotel at the same time. yet, no on-duty personal in the hotel. no emergency phone numbers available. no much i could help and i had to get up 5:30am hence went back to my room. the alarm went off until around 4.30am. i basically got no sleep and being exhausted the next day.
location is not prefect. taix fare from airport is about aus 20.-

It's convenient, but the room I had (228) had ripped rollercurtain with gaps. The floor around toilet smelled of urine and the drain in bathroom was dirty (I cleaned 1st before shower). The bed was fine, clean and comfy and the rest of room was fine. If you are for convenient, I would recommend the hotel, because that's why it's there. Close to airport.
