“A must when in Brissie..”
Review of CityCat Ferry

This is a must attraction for all visitors who are on a tight budget and are short of time in the river city.
Travel outside business hours and if you want to take a load of photos go up front and you won't be disappointed. A nice time to take the Cat is an hour or so before sunset and you will get the opportunity to enjoy the river city by day and after sunset when the lights provide a romantic atmosphere.

As the river winds through the city you will get an appreciation of all the buildings that make up the centre of Brisbane - bring a map and you can put names on the buildings.

Stops of interest are Parliament House, Universities, South Bank and New Farm. At The Regatta Stop you can visit the Boat Shed Steakhouse at lunch or dinner. Great spot.

On a sunny day (which is most days) sit outside and do a full loop. So there's no guide but this is the best way to experience the river city and it's cheap as chips. We do this whenever we have visitors from out of town.

For a great experience and a different look at Brisbane, there is nothing better than a trip on the CityCat Ferry's. There are many places to hop-on and hop-off and the ride is comfortable, clean and fast. A great way to get to know Brisbane from the water.

To take a trip on the City Cat is a "must do" for locals, and in particular for visitors to Brisbane.
There is no better way to see how the city has been established to take advantage of the fantastic views, and how it has been developed to embrace city living, with high rise apartments as well as office towers, domineering the skyline. Also featuring on the skyline are the many iconic bridges that you will pass under, - some old and some new, but all serving an essential means of crossing the river. If a round trip is decided upon it is possible to hop on and off at the various stops along the way such as South Bank, the city itself, and the Queensland University at no added cost. An excellent way to introduce and entertain visitors to Bribane.

This is primarily used by the locals for public transport to and from the city. Great way to get in and out of the city with cross river ferries connecting to both side of the river.

Nice just for a ride to have a look at the city from a different perspective.
