Stayed in one bedroom apartment which was spacious with everything you need including free parking. However everything is dated - fridge and aircon are particularly noisy, carpet old and worn, shower and kitchen old, blanket for bed is rough and scratchy. No obvious dirt around but considering the age of everything there is likely to be a fair bit of accumulated dirt in carpets etc.
Also there are no lifts and you have to go up one or two flights of stairs even to get to ground level apartments.
Location is quiet on a side street and near free Spring Hill Bus Loop to city otherwise it is a downhill 10 minute walk to CBD or uphill walk on way back.

The accommodation is spacious and gave us everything we wanted. However it was very dirty and upon leaving we gave the manageress a list of 16 items that needed attention, ranging from previous occupants detritus under the beds and sun cream splashes on the mirrors to light bulbs that didn't work. Her only excuse was that she had been having trouble with one of her cleaners and unless the guests told her of the problems she would not know.
The apartment was ideally suited for getting into brisbane centre as it was only a 5 minute walk from the FREE loop bus service. But if you have trouble with hills give this one a miss because they are many and steep.

Stayed 2 nights at the start of our Aussie tour just to enable us to have a look around Brisbane. The location is perfect on a quiet and peaceful residential street within walking distance of downtown (10 minutes). We booked a 1 bed apartment which was massive - living/kitchen with patio overlooking pool, upstairs to bathroom, laundry area and bedroom. In all honesty you could live in the accommodation. Pool is small but welcome after the summer heat and humidity of the city. Owners are very friendly and helpful people. The only downside was that it wasn't cheap by English standards but then nowhere in Brisbane (or in fact Australia) is - generally a result of the poor exchange rate against the Aussie dollar.

Nice clean place to stay, however we asked for twin beds thru Last Minute and were quoted a price. When we arrived no twin bed only a Queen so we had to pay an extra $20.00 per night (3 night) - $60.00 to use the sofa bed as well.
Would have been cheaper to go to Kmart an buy a set of sheets and throw them away after

We stayed here for NYE night and had an amazing stay.
Big bedroom, big bathroom and 2 balconies.
Furnishings were a little out-dated but for $170 a night I am not complaining.
Free carparking and the city is only a 5 minute walk away.
Great place to stay for families or couples.

Room Tip: If possible get a 2 bedroom apartment as they are two story.
