“i will never forget this place”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

I went there the first day of my arrival to Australia.
It's heavenly place, you can see all Brisbane from the height and enjoy a good dessert with coffee.

“Great lookout”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

Lovely place to visit however not much car parking. Restaurant / cafe is always busy with a very long wait for meals. Take your own food instead. Worth it for the view only.

“Not convenient place for travel by public transport”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

While Mount Cook-tha Lookout claimed to be a highland area at Bristane with beautiful night view, it is very difficult for travellers to go there by public transport, as there is only infrequent services operating. Also, if travellers would like to visit the peripheral areas, it is preferably that the activities are carried out in day time so that you can see the routes clearly.

“A treat for interstate/overseas visitors”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

This is a favourite place for us to take visitors to Brisbane, particularly at night. We always receive from our guests a great response to a visit here.

We recently dined at the Summit Restaurant at Mt Coot-tha and afterwards it was quite magical to go the few metres to the lookout and view thebrilliance of the city lights. It is possible to get an almost 270 degree view of the city and right out to the Port of Brisbane, and the Airport. When they ae operating the gas fire plume from the Oil refinery can be a spectacular sight.

The viewing area is very generous and dimly lit so that there is no light pollution to spoil the view. The Kuta cafe is a great place to have coffee and cake and sit at tables overlooking the city.

This place is a must for travellers and visitors to Brisbane.
