Great tour. Glad we picked this one. An interesting full day tour with jumping Crocs on the Adelaide River, touring Litchfield National park with visiting Ant hills and various water falls with rock pools for swimming followed by a healthy lunch. Tour guide Damo was full of personality and very informative. His interaction with the travellers made you feel part of the team. A big thank you.

A group of us went to Darwin for a hens trip and jumped on this tour for a day. We were all so impressed and had the best time ! The team that operates it goes above and beyond. Damon the owner was our tour guide and he was an absoloute blast and so incredibly funny as well as being full of knowledge. The whole day is fantastic especially the croc jumping tour
I have been on this exact tour twice now and I would go again a million times, it's well worth it !
Thank you again to Damo and his team for a wonderful day and our condolances to Daz and his family :)

As the bus drove out of the city just after 6 a.m., our guide and driver introduced himself as Damo and created a nice friendly atmosphere by calling out our names one by one and asking “Where are you from and what do you do?”
First stop was the jumping crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River. Damo piloted the boat and gave us safety instructions. I thought we would be feeding the crocodiles ourselves but Damo took charge of that. Probably just as well, since he was experienced and knew what he was doing. We came close to six or more crocodiles, some of them quite lethargic and ignoring the piece of chicken dangling just above their noses, but others avidly raising their heads to snap at the food. We also got to “meet” the famous five-meter Brutus, seemingly quite serene though he had got on to the front page of the local newspaper that morning having had a fight with another crocodile the previous day.
After that, it was a nice relaxing swim at the Wangi Falls in Litchfield Park. The tour schedule said “noodles provided.” I thought this meant a bowl of noodles for lunch but no, it was referring to the polyethylene foam swimming noodles (duh!) which were provided for increased buoyancy at the Wangi Falls. Anyway, no bowl of noodles but, after our swim we had a very delicious lunch of cold meats with salad vegetable and either plain or herbal wraps. We paid visits to two more pools for a swim: the stunning Florence Falls and the homely Buley Rockhole with its many cascades and rockpools. Sweets and snacks were also passed down the bus at various times during the trip and Damo provided a huge amount of information and amusing anecdotes throughout.
Further stops were made at the Cathedral Termite Mound and the Butterfly Farm in Batchelor. There was no time to see the butterflies, but we could visit the Pet Garden and interact with the goats, pigs, chickens and ducks. We also had the chance to chat with Chris, the owner of the farm and a great raconteur. If you stop there, I recommend the mango smoothies in Chris’s bar/restaurant.
On the way back Damo gave us the choice of disembarking at our respective accommodations or the Mindil Beach Sunset Market. Most of us opted for the market with its vast array of stall and superb Asian food. There was also, of course, the beautiful sunset which served as a great way to finish a really enjoyable day.
