The fascinating menu, features fresh local ingredients, hosts over 30 different tapas with edgy additions like the Grilled sumac spiced NT barramundi with bloodless bloody Mary and the King Salmon and Sichuan pepper pâté with fennel confit. To compliment a drop from the acclaimed cellar of older vintages try the Baharat spiced kangaroo fillet with pickled beetroot, smoked chat potatoes and goat cheese sauce, grilled NT Goldband Snapper fillet with roasted cherry tomatoes and chunky chips, sumptuous slow-cooked tagine or Dukkah crusted Black Angus eye fillet on sweet potato mash with bone marrow and red wine reduction. I am so into Moorish. Delicious, high quality food and a really cosy atmosphere if you get a spot up the back. Well done. Love having this place in Darwin. Good restaurants can be hard to find!

Came here for my partners birthday dinner. Everything was great except one dish being undercooked, but even after sending it back explaining we didn't want another they brought it anyway which we didn't mind, didn't spoil out evening at all. Service was great and the food really was delicious! Would definitely come back

We had tapas. They are very small serves for $8.50-9.50 per serve ie 2 x meatballs $8.50. In saying that the food is delicious. The haloumi bruschetta was our favourite, the meatballs are lovely and the duck was really nice. All washed down with a jug of their sangria which we enjoy. The atmosphere is nice, dimly lit, however acoustics aren't so good, we found it hard to hear each other talking. We've been here before with a group of six, which we found tapas was not enough food, with each dish so small, there's not everyone for everyone to taste and to order two or three of each dish is very expensive. The service was excellent, if not too efficient, our food came out in minutes, we ate, then dishes whisked away and table wiped under us. All done in 40 mins. A little bit rushed if you were planning a quiet, relaxing, romantic dinner for two. All in all we like the restaurant, love the food and will come back but not for any special occasion.

New Year's Eve 2014 with friends and fabulous food were the perfect ingredients to launch 2014.
The set menu was:Tostados( king salmon crudo and Spanish steak tartare); Entree (Spiced duck shanks and Tin Can Bay scallops); followed by a Main of either the tenderest beef cheek or grilled spatchcock poussin with sticky pomegranite baste; completed with a dessert of white chocolate pannacotta with sweetness balanced by strawberry, cheery and pink peppercorn syrup.
We all appreciated both the thought and the execution and Moorish remains a favourite, low key and reliably welcoming long term Darwin venue.
