“Did not disappoint”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

Travelling alone I just wanted a really nice meal. I am not keen on Thai food but this was recommended as Thai/ Malaysian/Indian. I asked for guidance with the menus to be more Indian influence and it was lovely. Had the Hanuman oysters and for the main, minced lamb with rice. Very tasty without being too hot. Nice atmosphere. Not 5 star but upmarket and obviously popular. I had a six o clock dinner as hadn't had lunch and by 7 the place was filling up fast. (Thursday night) For main, rice, oysters, sparkling water and a glass of wine $66. Not a cheap dinner but worth every cent as value for money. Good service too.

“Simply amazing”
Reviewed April 17, 2013 via mobile

I've never written a review while still sitting at the resto but this place is worth it. The food is amazingly tasty.
The best bit was that I was here with a large group and it was all preordered ap I had no idea what was coming. Well, dish after dish impressed me. Incredibly flavorful, well presented and super friendly waitresses.

“Best food and cocktails ever”
Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

I got a lamb dish. The Missus got a noodle dish.(can't remember the actual names) We also got some satay chicken and rosti. It was outstanding and our waitress Maricar was awesome (very knowledgable). Cocktails were the best I've ever had. Spent $130 for two of us but it was worth every cent.

“WOW! 12 months since the last visit and it's still sensational.”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

This time 12 months ago I was raving about the trumpet mushrooms - after having dinner again at Hanumans last night I still can't talk up the trumpet mushrooms enough, they are awesome. In saying that I think the Hanuman Oysters may have trumped the trumpets.

In my opinion Hanumans is the best restaurant in Darwin.
