Ate here twice while holidaying in Darwin. Food was very good...had the crispy skin barramundi on both occasions as it was fantastic. Also had a spicy chicken salad which had plenty of kick but was well balanced. Generous servings and good value for money. The staff were pleasant and efficient. It's also a great place to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a beer or wine on the terrace. Well worth staying on for a bite to eat!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family lunch on fathers day. I ordered a very well done steak and it was cooked perfectly (most places I have to ask for it to be cooked more) Ducks Nuts BLT was very nice and kids meals were good value.
Great food and service. Thank you

Went for fathers day breakfast, staff very friendly. Got bacon and scrambles eggs, didn't have to wait long before they came out and it was delicious! My 2yo normally doesn't eat meat but was loving the bacon! Only down side is the smokers are at both ends of the outside area so if you can, pick a table towards the middle. Oh, and the coffee was a fair bit better than average too. Prices were on par, or even a few $ cheaper.

We have had breakfast here a few times now:

The service, you will have to get their attention at times, we had to chase up our order on both occasions after waiting some 20 minutes so service could be better.

Atmosphere is OK, you are sitting outside looking at the main street of Darwin, Mitchell Street. Other than that just a plan setting of outdoor seating.

The food, I would have to say once you get it it would have to be one of the better breakfasts you will get in Darwin.

Price, a bit on the expensive side however not too bad for Darwin.

Over all with the limited choice you have in Darwin one of the better places to have breakfast.

Here is a place that the staff and chef know the quality of food and service as we ate here three times in the week we were in Darwin. Could not fault the food for both flavour and quality of the highest standard.
The staff gave the best service and knew the meaning of you as the customer and that they are based in a tourist industry where only good service works. I would recommend that you have an entree and main as the food had great flavour and was such good value for money. Out of all the places in Darwin this one is good food for all the family. Yes you need to book but were don't you these days.
Do yourself a favour when in Darwin and make this your first place for a good meal to start your time in Darwin.
