Beautifully appointed, clean, quiet and the best value for money I have experienced for a long time. We stayed for a couple of nights here before departing to outback, and this was just perfect. I must say, I don't remember staying somewhere in Australia for this sort of money, and really not finding anything to complain about. Pool was great, nicely appointed, clean, with good furniture. Bed was great, so as the bathroom and the size of the room is just spot on. Aircon worked perfectly, and it was quiet and peaceful. We stayed in a standard room on a first floor and it was just what we needed. Would return here again on a heartbeat, when next time in Darwin. You can't beat the place.

We enjoyed staying here and would recommend it because of it's perfect position to town and the waterfront. The pool area is lovely and tropical but beware of Midgee bites if you are staying in late August as they loved me. The garden bungalow rooms are clean and comfortable with a good outdoor area but the actual bedroom/living space is very small. The service and reception were great and very helpful.

Room Tip: The Garden Bungalow rooms though nice have very thin walls especially when your neighbour coughs and splutters all night.

We stayed at Palm City for 5 nights and one more night after Kakadu, in a garden bungalow, $210 per night.
It was surrounded by lovely vegetation and the room seemed new and clean and was serviced daily. The deck was a pleasant place to sit and eat, with an electric BBQ where we cooked a couple of times.
The staff in the office and in the garden were very helpful and friendly.
The resort is on the Esplanade with a nice park opposite to walk in by the water. Around the corner is the pleasant mall, and not far is a supermarket. Breakfast is available at extra cost.
I would stay there again if in Darwin.

We had a very relaxing stay in a bungalow with a refreshing in ground spa and ocean views. Leafy surrounds, clean room, very comfortable bed. Nice to have option of fresh air via the louvre windows with ceiling fan, or effective AC. Friendly helpful service. Very convenient location. Would love to stay again.

Nice place , clean and breakfast was good. It had nice swimming pool as well so you can take a fresh swim if you want to. Close to the sea and just a few minutes walk to the restaurants . I would recommend this place for a few days stay
