“Authentic Sri Lankan”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013 via mobile

Found this fabulous restaurant by accident whilst walking through the Vic arcade.
My Sri Lankan husband and I absolutely enjoyed the string hoppers and all you can eat buffet of a nice selection of Sri Lankan curries. The entree and deserts are served at your table. There is a choice out of three deserts. The staff are very friendly.

“Seriously - This is an undiscovered gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

This place has only been open for six months or so, but you know it is special when you see Sri Lankans eating there ALL THE TIME! The food is superb, the owner, Sunali, is just a world of smiles and nothing is too difficult. This is not a fancy high end restaurant. It is an unpretentious nook opposite the Vic Hotel in the Vic arcade and pretty much caters to the lunch time crowd. What makes it stand out however is that very special home made Sri Lankan cooking. If string hoppers, pol sambal, okra and egg plant curries mean something to you, then you know what I am talking about. In some ways it pains me to write this review because it may become a victim of its success. Hopefully it doesn't. As they say in the business..."Please enjoy!"
