We stayed in the Holiday Inn (not the newer Holiday Inn Esplanade next door) before and after a tour of the National Parks.
The corridors of the hotel are a bit shabby, with a lick of paint and a new carpet needed. That said, the rooms themselves are more than adequate and have great views of the sea.
This is not a hotel I would recommend for a stay of more than a couple of days, but is perfect for a good value, short stay hotel.
The pool and restuaruant area is very nice and the staff very helpful.
