Great market feels a bit like Byron Bay. Well worth visit. Lots of market bric a brac, clothing etc. some great food stalls. Personally I prefer to visit the other 3 major markets which I feel are more representative of Darwin. This market is defiantly popular and does appeal to many people.

Nightcliff is a small market but definitely worth a trip. There is a fantastic array of good stalls with almost every type of cuisine you can think of. Lovely relaxed atmosphere but with a bit of a buzz. Great Aboriginal art stall, lots of unique clothing outlets, and an incredible display of Astronomy photographs for very reasonable prices. Loved it!

I'm a lover of markets so I planned my whole week around seeing them all. The only be worth visiting is Mindil. Nightcliff perhaps worth a look if you're there, but not really worth the journey from Darwin CBD.

I travel regularly to Darwin and always make sure I am there on a Sunday morning to sample the buzz of the Nightcliff Markets. I love the friendliness of the stall holders as well as the locals that fully embrace this weekly meeting point. Very relaxed and always some entertainment happening. I remember listening to Jessica Mauboy busking a few years back.
