Review of Wave Lagoon

Owner description: One of the Waterfront's coolest attractions is the Wave Lagoon: a palm-fringed swimming pool that turns into a tube-riding, boogie-boarding bucket of fun when the waves roll in every 20 minutes. The fully patrolled Wave Lagoon is two metres at its deepest point and slopes to a shallow area of still water, perfect for families. Bring your book: there are plenty of banana lounges, beach umbrellas and shady patches of lawn. Aqua Zumba classes every Sunday from 9am are a HUGE hit with tourists and locals alike.

“Fun family outing”

A great family outing, wave pool for adults and big kids and a large shallow wading pool for the littlies. The wading pool is well shaded.

“Great spot to cool off”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

the waves are on for 20 minutes at a time with a ten minute break and they change every cycle, great fun for kids and adults, and really good value for money. Clean, lots of shade and free use of rings, boards and noodles. Spent a morning there and loved it.

“Wave pool”

Great facility right near Darwin CBD. I like to get here early and out before it gets too hot - but it's great fun and cheap!!
