Owner description: One of the Waterfront's coolest attractions is the Wave Lagoon: a palm-fringed swimming pool that turns into a tube-riding, boogie-boarding bucket of fun when the waves roll in every 20 minutes. The fully patrolled Wave Lagoon is two metres at its deepest point and slopes to a shallow area of still water, perfect for families. Bring your book: there are plenty of banana lounges, beach umbrellas and shady patches of lawn. Aqua Zumba classes every Sunday from 9am are a HUGE hit with tourists and locals alike.

We went here with our 3 year old as we had a day stop over. It was refreshing as it was very hot. I feel that they charge too much for just a wave lagoon. They supply body boards and swim rings free of charge which was good but cost of entry is too much. My son loved it but had very very sore eyes after.

A great place to take the kids or Grandchildren. Safe and LOTS of fun for everyone. Plenty of shade and what a beautiful setting at the Water front. This is a place for everyone from babies to adults. If your not having fun then you don't belong there, stay away so you don't upset the rest of us.

We went here on New Years Eve and arrived around 330 to beat any crowds. It was a great time of day to come as it wasn't very crowded at all and the price is so affordable.

The same price as hiring a sun lounger and you get a nice pool that produces body boardable waves from time to time. Pleasant grassed areas with palm trees. Get wrist bands from the kiosk before going to the entry gate.
