2 of us went to cove for breakfast this morning. It was busy so we understood the long wait. Our food was delivered before our drinks arrived, when we told them our drinks hadnt arrived they looked in to it, apologised and said they had been given to someone else by mistake and made them right away. Then we didnt get the cream cheese with lemon with our banana caramel pancakes. When i questioned this they apologised and said they had run out. I said i would have liked to have been told that when i ordered. They did offer ice-cream but we didnt want that. They also offered a complimentary drink but by this time we were full and didnt want any more, so declined. I thought they might have taken the cost of our late drinks off the bill or a couple of dollars off for the missing cream cheese but they didnt. The other breakfast was the cove breakfast which was nice although we did order hard yolk eggs but they were still runny, we didnt complain about that though. The outlook was lovely and the staff had pleasant dispositions. We have beem twice for dinner and have had similar service problems there too. Not sure if we will go back or not.

we ordered the Wagyu 9 score and when it came out it was an Angus grain fed cut, no marbeling what so ever. When i questioned the chef they couldnt tell me where the cut came from, i told them it would be on the box and they still couldnt tell me. It was a nice cut but not Wagyu and for $60 for 180 grams it was unacceptable. The chef wouldnt even come out, he sent a backpacker out to talk about steak that she had no idea about.

We arrived at 6.30 with 6 adults and 3 kids and a baby. We ordered the kids meals straight up so they wouldn't be too hungry. After an hour wait the kids meals finally arrived. The place was not busy at all and unfortunately the rest of the evening was much the same. Long waits for the food. We finished around close to 10 and that was from just waiting around.

The food though was delicious. I had seafood chowder for entree and it was so yummy and we'll presented. For main l had entree size rib eye and though there was only two tiny bus of meat they were cooked to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely and they all looked gorgeous.
I word all recommend the journey of wines. Delicious.
The restaurant it self is very nice and the had lovely view of the lagoon pool.
The staff while friendly seemed a little lost and a couple of them had very basic English.
I would defiantly return but not with the kids. Defiantly a lovely place to go with a partner or friends.

We went there for Brunch/Lunch and it was fantastic. Fabulous service and very restful and cooling surroundings. One of those places that is a cut above the rest and is highly recommended.

Service was impeccable. Food was really good and excellent value for money (especially by Darwin standards). The barramundi and scallop main was cooked to perfection and one of the best meals I've eaten in Darwin. Will be back again on my next visit.
