Loved the fact that there was sand for my one year old to play in- this is perfect for families with young kids because they can play all day and tire themselves out in the water and there aren't any big cliffs like some other water holes so you don't have to watch them the whole time. The camping facilities are also great. its a bit dry and dusty at this time of year and very hot up at the camp ground but you could spend all day by the springs (which is literally down the stairs from the campground) where there is shade and just go up top to sleep and eat. there are toilets and showers and fire pits and wooden benches at each camp site and those annoying people with generators are pointed to one side of the campground so hopefully you don't have to sleep right near one! :-)
