We stayed 2 nights at the Douglas Hot Springs national park campground. Site was nice & level, with fire ring & timber tabletop. There are male & female flush toilets with 1 cold water tap & sink at each. Clean enough, but rough, and VERY DUSTY. The camping was cheap, and easy to get to. The springs are HOT, so we didn't linger there. Used it as a base to go to Butterfly Gorge for the day, which was great, but HAD to have a 4wd for that journey!

We loved the douglas hot springs. Best hot springs in NT I reckon. The water is seriously hot in some spots so watch your step. Camp sites are pretty standard with a couple of toilets in the camp area. Would gladly go back

The Douglas Hot Springs were a bit if a surprise. It was very hot the day we visited and a 2 hour drive from Darwin, the final few kilometres on dirt road. At the time of our visit there were quite a few campers. The waters were cool until you came to a spot where the hot springs bubbled into the waterway. Very relaxing swim.

It's a unique experience, out in nature relaxing in hot springs. It's about a 2 hour drive from Darwin city. During the dry season there's a 4-wheel drive track to Butterfly Gorge which is also worth the trip.

Great spot to enjoy swimming in the hot spriongs and lazing around having a BBQ. There are bungalows for rent nearby - a good spot for a relaxing week end.
