Lovely area to sit and reflect, soak up the surrounds and do nothing in general. Take a picnic lunch and simply enjoy

A very scenic drive along East Point Road will take you into East Point Reserve, where you can see wild wallabies (in the evening and very early mornings), a great view of Darwin City, the Timor Sea and coastline of the Northern Territory and the Military Museum. There are old bunkers from where the 'Yanks' stood watch along the coast watching for invading Japanese soldiers waiting to defend Darwin during the WWII but most are in terrible condition due to aging and weather. The Military Museum itself is small but interesting, with photos and military equipment of the day. It is an interesting couple of hours if you are into sightseeing along the coast.

Great park with walking and cycling. Views all around and plenty of shade. Great place to go for a walk, run or bike ride
