There really wasn't much there. There is a wave pool which looked good if there during the day. There's quite a few restaurants but not much else.

Very average not much doing on the wharf or for that matter the harbour, we checked some of the resturants while we were there , and they did seem reasonably priced ,however, we were spoilt by going to the Cullen Bay all you could eat seafood(magnificient). we went down to the fish co-op/fish markets but they were very poor, especially if you compare to Sydney's fish market, too expensive and not enough variety, that was two shops, where these markets are ,off the Arrafura Sea , and there should be an abundance of seafood, something the Darwin Chamber of Commerce should exploit and look into.

Thwe wharf precinct contains bars and eateries. I would say it's Darwin's version of our Southbank in Melbourne.

The tables and chairs overlook Darwin Harbour which is a great place to relax particulalrly in the cool of the evening. The food ranges from Thai to fish and chips.

I went there a couple of times whilst I was in Darwin for 8 days and loved every moment. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Sailing with crocodiles - how many places can you say that - loved the sailing regattas and just the natural life of a sailor
