This a great resort - that is part of the casino! The resort itself is wonderful - very relaxing and welcoming. Fantastic pools and ocean frount. It is also right beside the night markerts that are held twice a week.
There are a couple of down sides - there are a few water features in the resort grounds - and All I could hear in my room was running water! Also there are no curtian - just wooden blids, mine didn't close tightly so when the sun was rising - so was I when the room flooded with slits of light. The rooms are great as long as you're not a light sleeper.
As it's part of the Casion - there is alway some form of entertainement, as well as many different dining options (and prices)
The casion is out of the CBD but there seemed to be some public transport - but I would suggest a car as it's too hot in Darwin to late at bus stops or walk far.More
