Two night stay in a Junior Suite for a business meeting. Location is good, with a view over the water and easy walking distance into the Smith St Mall. The room had everything I needed and plenty of space, with a separate living area. The main let down of the room was the bathroom. Functional in basic terms, but definitely old and in need of modernization. The food in Zest was a surprise. I had the buffet breakfast both mornings and it was not only tasty, but the hot food really was hot, which is not always the case in a number of hotel breakfast buffets. In addition, I enjoyed dinner in Zest one eveving with a business colleague and we both commented how good the food was. Unfortunately, the staffing level at dinner in Zest was not sufficient to provide a matching good service. Friendly, but not enough people working. The atrium of the hotel is very pleasant, green and airy, which provides a nice spot to meet or have a drink. The glass lifts provide a nice view, but boy are they slow and you really notice that when waiting along with a tour group who just checked in.
