I love everything about Christo's. The food, the service, the location - sitting there overlooking a small colourful marina - you feel as if you're on holidays even though you might be having a serious business meeting or a friendly talk with friends you haven't seen for a while. You can meet here, away from the CBD and away from public gaze. The barramundi, Greek salad and chips make the perfect meal over which to discuss business. Heather@staffmanagement.com.au

Excellent location! Very relaxing. Good service! Food to dine in a little pricey but otherwise very nice. I have had take-away fish n chips from here many many times and they are always good and at a reasonable cost.

One thing I have noticed is the chips are always fresh and crispy. Never experienced chips that taste like they have been fried in old oil at this place.

It is also licensed. Bonus!

It is really hard to get to, and once you get there an awful smell hits you and stays with you the whole time.

Dined recently at this cafe with family and although they had lost our booking the meal was fantastic. They serve Australian seafood among other things and it was so tasty, fresh and delicious. After sharing the Christo`s oysters, I had the battered barra. The oysters were absolutely wonderful. Served natural with smoked salmon, aoli and cucumber. The barra was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The serve was huge and tasted fantastic. Too full to have dessert after. We have dined here before and it has always been great food. Service can be a little slow but sitting at the waters edge and the calming waters way away the time. Would reccommend you try Christo`s. Probably a good idea to book because it does get busy.

Lunched here on the outside deck overlooking the marina, after catching the bus out from the CBD ($2 each for 3 hours of bus travel). The calamari was seriously delicious and even at entree size enough to feed two people, while the barra (two large pieces) came with crispy chips and a lovely fresh Greek salad. Wine list was more than adequate, the service was friendly and the setting was lovely (as long as you don't mind looking at boats belonging to rich people). And if you don't want to pay restaurant prices to have your food served to you on a plate by a friendly waitress, there is a range of take-away options to choose from.
