Wow! This cruise was spectacular, it is a family run business. Only 30 ppl on the boat so you can really get up close to the crocs! A must do! We would definitely do it again.

Did this cruise in 2004 and it was even better in 2013. Saw plenty of crocs and birds. Our guide searched out many crocodile and it was amazing to see Brutus, a five metre, 100 year old croc missing a front leg.!

Today we spent a full day on the river with Harry Bowen of Adelaide River Cruises. What a magnificent day. Harry is the Wikipedia of the Adelaide River with knowledge of the amazing crocodiles, birds, plants and general knowledge of the river and the NT.
We saw an amazing 108 crocodiles from baby's to big brutes that looked frightening but looked fantastic in there own environment. Up close and personnel with Sea Eagles, Whistling Kites and all different varieties of birds.
Morning tea a fantastic BBQ Lunch in a real bush setting made the day.
This a must do in the NT you will be sorry if you don't.

We went to three different operators before reaching them... Turn left off the Arnhem Highway towards Fogg Dam (Anzac Parade) and follow signs to the river. You get off road after a while and let that not bother you and keep following the directions.

We were there on the day of high tide and were told by Harry that it will be difficult to spot crocs and that he might have to prolong the boat ride so that we get the most out of the trip. And he actually spent an extra 30 minutes and delivered what he promised. We could not spot much crocs up the river but there was one big lazy one which was not ready to move despite all the meat thrown at him. We did spot big ones down the river and some baby crocs as well. They all were excellent hosts while we were visiting their natural habitat and gave us some memorable photo opportunities. We were all thrilled!!!!

The boats are small and they accommodate max 30 passengers which makes it more fun, personalised and less commercial. There is a small souvenir shop and they do sell some cold drinks as well. Do not forget to carry your hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Remember there are many operators and names can get confusing... Overall an excellent experience, something not to be missed while you are in NT.
