We went for dinner on Saturday night after being recommended by a friend

Our friends had the flathead and the pork chops and enjoyed their meals. We had the Barramundi and both were disappointed, too much batter and the batter wasn't cooked through properly

The service was good and the atmosphere was great

Overall it was OK but it will take me some time to try it again with all of the other options in Darwin

Thank SthOz

Fiddlers Green is one of the family's reliable eating places as it's relaxed and offers the chance for the kids to run around outside but in sight. I just wish the powers that be in the Council/Wharf Precinct would put some play equipment somewhere nearby.

We have brunch there fairly regularly and their food is always reliable and up to standard. My favourite is the eggs royale which are comparable with any of the other brunch venues in town.

The staff are actually very good, and also very helpful -something of a rarity in Darwin. They are also very good with the kids. So 5 stars for the staff, and the management for keeping them on track.

We enjoy going here, and do so regularly which speaks volumes in a town where it's all too easy to be disappointed by the standards.

I had eggs o royale which is poached eggs, smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce on an english muffin. The eggs were perfect but waaay too much hollandaise sauce! Expensive too :(
