Owner description: Crocosaurus Cove allows visitors a unique, up close and personal view of massive saltwater crocodiles, crocodile hatchlings, juveniles as well as being home to the World’s largest display of Australian reptiles and the famous Cage of Death. The Cage of Death is the only cage in the world that brings you face to face with some of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in captivity. Remember to bring your bathers and ‘Swim with the Crocs’ in our unique swimming area that allows you to get up close to our very active juveniles. Don’t miss the chance to feed these hungry juveniles as part of our latest attraction, "fishing for crocs" ...this is a photo opportunity not to be missed. Meet the reptiles and learn more about the Top End’s unique and favourite critters such as Western Bearded Dragons and Olive Pythons. Check out the barramundi in our 200,000 litre freshwater aquarium and don’t forget our gorgeous top end turtle enclosure. All this and a daily program of fun & interactive reptile activities await you at Crocosaurus Cove, in the heart of Darwin City.

“Faye and Chad were awesome! Really made a great experience for us!”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

We arrived Friday in Darwin for a wedding and my gf really wanted to do the swim with the crocodile adventure.

They were booked solid but our tour guide told us to goto the front desk to see if they had any cancellations. To our dismay they didn't have any cancellations and were completely booked solid. But due to our disappointment and our limited time there they offered us to come early and open up a first slot of the day for us to come and enjoy the swimming with crocodile adventure also known as the cage of death. Talk about 5 star customer service!

On top of that the exhibits and all the people there were great and you can genuinely feel there enthusiasm and interest they have for these amazing animals.

“Waste of Money. Better spent at Jumping Crocodile Cruise”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Utterly disappointed except that the crocs are really huge here. But there really isn't much - especially for the price you are paying. My bf and I left feeling really disappointed. And it didn't help that we arrived from the Jumping crocodile cruise.

Paying extra to get into the cage seems to be a complete waste of money. We were watching a guy do it and the staff was trying hard to get the crocodile to react as they were all feeling lazy after lunch. Lucky us that it was fully booked so we saved some money.

Staff there weren't exactly very friendly. We tried asking some questions but they weren't very welcoming which turned us off even more. They seem like there were just there to do their job.

“Fantastic! ”

This was an highlight of our Northern Territory trip. It's much more than just crocs as there are other things to see as well.

We done the 'cage of death' where you get to lowered into a crocs tank and the keepers feed them around you. This was an amazing experience and if you have a few days in Darwin I'd fully recommend visiting.

“A must see!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

This was a highlight of our trip. The reptile display was excellent. We found the crocodile display fascinating, especially from all the different countries. The cage of death was interesting to view, but I wasn't too keen to do it.A must see when you are visiting Darwin and well worth the entrance fee.

Even though I was scared at first, once in the cage it was just great. If you get to it,don't miss this experience of being eye to eye with a croc!
