Owner description: Crocosaurus Cove allows visitors a unique, up close and personal view of massive saltwater crocodiles, crocodile hatchlings, juveniles as well as being home to the World’s largest display of Australian reptiles and the famous Cage of Death. The Cage of Death is the only cage in the world that brings you face to face with some of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in captivity. Remember to bring your bathers and ‘Swim with the Crocs’ in our unique swimming area that allows you to get up close to our very active juveniles. Don’t miss the chance to feed these hungry juveniles as part of our latest attraction, "fishing for crocs" ...this is a photo opportunity not to be missed. Meet the reptiles and learn more about the Top End’s unique and favourite critters such as Western Bearded Dragons and Olive Pythons. Check out the barramundi in our 200,000 litre freshwater aquarium and don’t forget our gorgeous top end turtle enclosure. All this and a daily program of fun & interactive reptile activities await you at Crocosaurus Cove, in the heart of Darwin City.

Very accessible, gives a great introduction to crocodiles - they are humongous and quite creepy. We were lucky to be there at feeding time for the young ones - lots of action.
I felt that entry ticket $32) was quite expensive, the facility looked tired and amenity very basic. Gift shop was very expensive.

“Up close and personal”

Haven't seen anywhere else where you can get so close to dangerous animals or in the water with crocodiles? Very unique attraction, great for families, kids or groups. A must see in Darwin.

“I really enjoyed this!”

This was a great find right in the heart of Darwin. Reasonably priced, it offers a visual delights of live local reptiles that will hold anyone's interest. Frill neck lizards through to Taipan snakes.

The "king" reptile however is the crocodile. From the dozens of juvenile crocs through to those that are 80 years old and 5.5 metre in length.

Make a great day an everlasting memory by hoping into the water with one - safely cocooned in a clear plastic "cage". Highly recommended!
