Rushed back from Kakadu for this trip. Was worth the time and certainly worth every cent.
The owner and his staff are intelligent, passionate about turtles and very nice human beings.
The experience on the island with the turtles was excellent and I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
Congratulations Jim, a lovely family business, keep up the good work

Professionally and sensitively run tour true to the eco principles stated in the eco accreditation received by the company.
My series of emails were fully and promptly answered by Heather and the company's agreement to drop us off at Cullen Bay was very much appreciated.
The guides were excellent and to our joy we saw nesting turtles and some hatchlings.
The stars were marvellous as we lay on the beach waiting for the return of some members of our party who had gone on further with one of the guides.
Nothing was rushed.
Once back on board we had an excellent picnic dinner, before a speedy return through the soft tropical evening

This was way beyond anything I could have imagined. Left Darwin at 4.00pm and headed for Bare Sand Island where we were treated to an amazing experience. Saw turtles, in daylight making their way up the beach to lay eggs which was a real treat as this usually happens in darkness, and actually saw a turtle laying the eggs, covering them and later making her way back down to the water. Followed hatchlings down to the water and experienced a beautiful sunset before having a lovely meal beneath the stars. Totally amazing tour with the most capable, friendly and informative crew/guides. The sea trip itself is an adventure!
Thank you all, was a total privilege to be part of this

Last weekend went on a really interesting tour with Jim and his experts. Left Darwin Harbour around 4:00 p.m. and headed out to Bare Sand Island to see the turtles nesting. On arrival we watched two turltels, Henderson and Oliver be released with tracking devices on them. We watched them disappear out to sea and their new life.

As the sunset over the sea we relaxed and waited quietly for the turtles to emerge from the water. Over the period of 1/2 hour 4 turlte can out along the beach to nest. We waited until the turtles were settled and then quietly watched them lay their eggs. They then covered up the nests and we followed them down the beach and watch them go out to sea.

The informatin given by the guides and scientists was great. Well worth the $ for anyone who loves the environment and animals in their natural setting. A night to remember.

What an adventure, I felt like Robinson Cursio but educated as Sir David Attenborough in Turtle sience and history. Seeing Trutles making there way up the beach in the full moon, Laying and heading back down to the sea.The Bare Sand Island itself is full of amzaing sea shells and noughing beats the sand between your toes watching the spectakula sunset then watching the moon rise over the ocean from pink to orange to crisp white. A total family evening out enjoyed by all.
