To be honest i was terrified after reading people's reviews. But having had our two dogs we had no choices. When we got there the lady at the counter was great. She told us lots of different places to visit and eat and walk the dogs. The room was massive which was great because one of dogs is rather big. Yes it was kind of a noisy night but that had nothing to do with the stay. Air con worked perfect as did everything else.
If your looking for fancy dont bother, but if your looking for somewhere nice for you and your dogs its great.

My wife didn't speak to me for half a day after we checked out of this place. Yes my pet enjoyed his stay. I think he was, Infact I know he was the only one. Pretty awful, dirty, and not even very cheap. Would not recommend.

This "budget" room cost $110 per night. There was no mirror in the bathroom - not to much to ask and very difficult to shave in when dressing for a wedding! No remote for the tiny TV; empty toilet roll in bathroom; not enough car parking spaces, and a very lumpy mattress. I wouldn't recommend this place to others.

Room tip: Ours was upstairs with no lift.

Firstly the positives.
It's pet friendly, allowing pets in the room. It's close to shops and CBD, also close to museum and fannie bay goal.
Drop by the cool spot for a coffee.
Or parap markets on a saturday.
Close to mindil aswell. Location is great.
I stay here because it is pet friendly. I have stayed here a few times with my dogs, the reception staff are very accomodating and friendly. Pool and laundry on site and tea and coffee making facilities in room.
The decor as previously mentioned does look dirty but on closer inspection the tiles are stained. It is a budget motel so I'm sure it would be expensive to renovate to update the entire hotel. If renovated then I'm sure dogs wouldn't be allowed to stay. Tiles in bathroom are a little worn and dated. I like the place for the simple reason it's pet friendly and it's cheap.
Because it's cheap it does sometimes attract various types of guests. I was woken on occasion by some minor outside disturbances but the night manager was right on it every time. Parking can be tricky and it's best in, first served. Also currently limited reception hours as new manager is away overseas. I haven't had any issue extending my stay or with my room key. If you have dogs it's fine to stay here. If you want flash and fancy I'd look somewhere else. Sometimes you can find wotif deals that are similar in price range to this motel. Under the circumstances the motel met all of my needs at the time I stayed. Apparently there is free WiFi but I wasn't given any information regarding it at check in.

A family owned and operated motel with a twin room for $120 in high season. The motel is in a quiet location away from main roads but with a shopping centre nearby. Very clean with the largest shower area I've ever seen! Food was available with the evening special being a large bowl of slow-cooked beef with vegetables for just $12. Free internet.
We were made to feel at home by our hosts Nelson and Teneille- a perfect end to our down under adventure. Thanks guys!

Room tip: No lift so request ground floor if mobility issues.
