I did the Astro Tour and it was fantastic! The sky was a curtain of stars and it was amazing what you could see through the telescopes. We got to see Mars, Saturn, Jupitar and so much more. The staff were fantastic and full of knowledge. Awesome experience!

“Astor tour, a must see in the Red Centre”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

The night's sky at the Red Centre it is nothing short of breathtaking. Back this up with enthusiastic, knowledgeable and kind guides and you will have a night to remember forever.

After taking the longer tour and being impressed, I took my family to the family tour... I now have an eight year old looking at the sky in a new and exciting way. If you are lucky enough to have Mike as your guide you will know precisely what I mean....

You have to take this tour, take it early and back it up the next night.

Living in the Centre, we occasionally head out of town to do some star/planet gazing.
It is one of the most spectacular regions in the world to do this without the "light pollution" of nearby cities or towns and because we have been astronomy/cosmology buffs for many years.
While in Yulara for a break we booked in with Outback Sky as a special occasion for us.

You will learn about the history of the universe, the big bang theory and the life and death of stars which will definitely heighten your knowledge and understanding of the universe.
A use of telescopes, binoculars, (and we also brought our own), will enhance your viewing as one of the best experiences you can have in this magical region of the world.

“Heavens above !”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

We took the Astro Tour on our recent weekend to Uluru. We have to say the experience was FANTASTIC. Our 3 guides met us in the town centre at 915pm, and after a short walk into the sands behind the car park, introduced us to the wonders above. With the use of two large telescopes, binoculars and iPad displays, not to mention a obvious knowledge and passion for the stars, we were intruduced to the wonders of the cosmos.

Although we were hampered by a extremenly bright full moon and some clouds, we were still able to gaze onto celestrial wonders of the night sky. Even my wife, who only booked the tour for me, was amazed.

A definite WOW attarction.

A perfect activity for outback Australia. An enthusiastic guide to the heavens that remains with us as a spectacular memory of our trip to the Red Centre.
