Owner description: An intimate dining experience under the outback sky. 'Tali Wiru', meaning beautiful dune in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta, and for music there's the stillness of the desert at night and the classic sounds of the didgeridoo. Relax with Champagne and canapés around a firepit while you watch the sun set. As day turns to night, stroll to the top of the dune for a table d'hote four-course dinner, matched with premium Australian wines.

Just the most amazing venue to share a most enjoyable & memorable Ruby Anniversary with my wife Dianne. The unique site, 1st class Aussie Food & Wine, amazing young hospitality workers, great "Didgeridoo " exponent ,fabulous Indigenous storyteller, roaring open fire and an open Amphi-Theatre under the brilliant N.T. night sky is an experience that everyone should tick on their 'BUCKET LIST '. Well done Tali Wiru !! keep up the great work. Tony & Dianne ,Wollongong NSW Australia.

“Tali Wiru - a great night”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

We were picked up by a very pleasant girl in a four wheel drive and taken to the sand dune. A wonderful greeting followed there, then champagne and canapes while watching the sunset and the scenery. Delicious canapes with local ingredients. Then after dark, dinner under the clear sky. Great food accompanied by a fine wine selection. Enough said. Recommended highly.

“Brilliant, a memorable experience”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

To say to much would be to give away the experience of dining at this place. From the pick up at the hotel to the drop of you are completely spoilt.

The glass of champagne in hand watching the sun set, the great food matched to good wines under the canopy of a trillion stars, the warm fires, the hot chocolate with a glass of cognac sitting in front of a glowing fire place all make for a romantic & memorable experience.

The staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you, how they do what they do in the middle of no where is a mystery to me but they do it very very well.

Expensive, yes, worth the experiences, YES YES YES. If you visit ayers rock put this on your must do list, I will come back.

“Memories are made of this”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

Jaw dropping expensive – however a wonderful night and well worth it. I won’t say much to spoil your experience – and words couldn’t do it justice anyway other than the service, food and wine were all exceptional. Topped off with a mug of hot chocolate (or something stronger) around the fire - a memorable finish to a magic night.
Dress up - and take a warm wrap girls.
