It's a lovely house in the center of Alice.
The staff was really nice with us and let us walk around even though it was closed! We learned a lot about the life of the first inhabitants of Alice.

Thank Adelaide L

One of the oldest buildings in the Alice which contains some very interesting memorabilia. Makes you greatly appreciate the dedication of the early settlers. We spent about 50 minutes there.

Something for both of us. I found the film of the two nurses experience fascinating. Whilst my husband walked around the house looking at the "original air conditioning system"
Gold coin donation for entry.

This is an interesting building to visit. Gold coin donation, and takes around 20 mins to look at it. It is set up as the first hospital for Central Australia, and has all the original equiment on display.

This house is not always open so it pays to check times. There is parking close by near the church. The house is wheelchair friendly if you ask as they provide alternative access. The work of John Flynn is showcased here and to see his ingenuity and dedication to the inland mission along with the innovation within the house/museum is wonderful. It is entry via gold coin donation but well worth it if you can plan you time to visit.
